Apple Store moves Apple TV to own section

This week, we witnessed an update to the Apple Store web site that is normally seen during Keynotes: the site was taken offline Monday night, and returned with a new section expressly reserved for the Apple TV.

Does this portend of new products in the near future? Perhaps, but more likely is a software update to the Apple TV line that may allow apps to be purchased and installed, as on your current iOS device. Another feature request, but less likely, is adding the ability to turn the Apple TV into a network router, merging the functionality of the Airport Express, and signaling that unit’s eventual deprecation.
